President of Al-Zahraa University Participates in Private Higher Education Council Meeting
Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women participated as one of the National Higher Education Council's members in its meeting today, July 15, 2024. The meeting which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Hassan, Higher Education Ministry's advisor, began with several such important items on its special agenda as scientific promotions and teachers secondment in addition to a number of decisions on private education. Moreover, the development of the educational process was adressed particularly, the difficulties and challenges facing university educators as experienced during ministerial evaluation exams. A vote was also made on a variety of proposals submitted by private universities with a view to contribute to the development of higher education and its mechanisms in a gap bridging way between private and public education. Creation of rare and new specialties in colleges was explored too, in conjunction with further topics of interest to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as it seeks to achieve scientific sobriety by promoting private education and the educational process thereof.
