Scientific Incubators: Advancing Knowledge Investment and Expanding Employment Opportunities
In line with ministerial directives intended to further higher education in Iraq, and under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, Continuous Education Centre organized a scientific workshop titled “Scientific &Technological Incubators and Parks”. The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Baqir Al-Ardhi, member of the Ministerial High Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, led the session. The workshop offered valuable insights into the various types of scientific and technological incubators along with ways and means for their activation within universities and academic institutions. Additionally, it emphasized the importance of scientific parks in the promotion of technological advancements and research-based knowledge to drive development across diverse fields, ultimately contributing to the expansion of employment opportunities in crucial scientific and professional disciplines. It is important to point out that such workshops are held within programs that receive great interest from the University and are designed to advance scientific initiatives that keep step with the requirements of the labor market and support professional and academic progress.
