Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Director of the Women's Affairs Division, Asst. Lect. Manal Abd Al-Amir, an educational and awareness lecture entitled: "Illiteracy Eradication is a Step towards Development" was presented by Prof. Safa’ Mahdi and Prof. Adnan Abd Al-Amir. With the knowledgeable participation of female students from the Faculties of Education and Engineering and Information Technology. The lecture highlighted the importance of literacy as a pivotal tool in advancing societies, especially with regard to empowering women and opening the doors to active participation in economic, social, and cultural life. This initiative comes as part of the University's efforts to provide quality programs that contribute to community education and motivate girls to take on their leading roles in building the future.
