Arabic Language Department at Al-Zahraa University Hosts Prosody and Poetry Course
Prosody and poetry composition course was organized by Department of Arabic Language in cooperation with Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division along with Continuous Education Department at Al-Zahraa University, attained impressive and rapid success. The course which was presented by Dr. Sheikh Hussein Al-Nasrawi, aimed to provide female students with a comprehensive understanding of Arabic poetic meters, helping them distinguish between various rhythms and master the art of composing poetry within structured meters. Additionally, by the third day of the course, female students showcased remarkable progress, composing and reciting poetry in an improvised way across the entire meter. The course notable success was reflected through female students' swift adaptability, highlighting their enthusiasm and ability to engage in creative literary expression under expert guidance, thus underscoring the effectiveness of the training approach.
