As part of the university’s efforts to enhance the professional and practical skills for female students, the Career Services Division in cooperation with the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies / Radiology and Sonography Department, and the Continuing Education Centre organized a training course entitled “Mastering Job Interviews: Preparation, Types, and Body Language.” The course was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mullah Al-Sultani the University President.

The course presented by Lect. Dr. Tuhama Marei Layla, Asst. Lect. Hanan Jassab Muhammed, and Lect. Dr. Marlen Hashim Salloum, where addressed most strategies and practical guidelines that ensure female students to succeed in job interviews and leave a positive impression on work institutions.

The course covered essential steps for conducting a successful job interview, including preparing a professional cv, adhering to punctuality, choosing appropriate formal attire, demonstrating self-confidence, being prepared to ask and answer questions clearly and accurately, and avoiding discussions about salary or off days before proving professional competence.

The course also emphasized the vital role of body language in enhancing success opportunity, highlighting the gestures and behaviors that reflects confidence and professionalism, as well as those that should be avoided to ensure leaving a lasting positive impression.

This initiative comes within a series of training programs that organized by Al-Zahraa University for Women, aims at providing female students with academic and professional preparation. It seeks to equip them with practical skills that enhancing their employability and qualify them to become effective and distinguished contributors in diverse professional environments and career fields.
