The Continuing Education Centre in collaboration with the Faculty of Education and the Nahj Al-Balagha Sciences Foundation organised a specialised scientific lecture entitled “Formal Conduct and Etiquette of Participation in Graduation Ceremonies in the Light of Integrated Development and Modern Education.” The said event was held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of the University. Additionally, the event was held as part and parcel of the University’s scientific and educational programmes aimed at enhancing female students’ behavioural and ethical skills and linking them to contemporary academic and educational values.
The lecture was delivered by His Eminence Sayyid Nabil Al-Hassani, who addressed a range of key topics related to formal conduct and etiquette in academic events, highlighting the importance of achieving a balance between adherence to traditional values and commitment to the principles of integrated development and modern education.
Al-Hassani further discussed issues related to effective participation in formal ceremonies, the significance of respecting social and ethical values, and the role of female students in fostering a positive spirit within the University community. Furthermore, he emphasised how such practices contribute to the achievement of sustainable human development goals, while enhancing self-confidence and effective communication skills across various academic and social occasions.
It bears noting that this event forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of knowledge, positive conduct, and ethical awareness among female students, in line with contemporary developments in education and pedagogy, and to further strengthen the University’s position as a leading educational institution in advancing academic, cultural, and social values.
